Youth Worker engagement with children and young people in need of extra support, mentoring, and/or guidance. The Youth Worker works one to one with young clients to address an identified need; such as peer relationships, anger, self –esteem, and goal setting. The Youth Work team will also support young people and their whanau to engage positively with Health services, Police Alternative Action plans, Oranga Tamariki Family Group Conferences, and other community support services.
